Heaton Park Synagogue Incident: One Victim Appears to Have Been Shot by Police
During a tragic turn of events, a individuals killed at the Manchester synagogue attack is believed to have been fatally wounded by armed police officers.
Police Announcement Confirms Gunshot Wound
The chief constable from the local force announced that a forensic expert has initially concluded the man succumbed to a bullet injury.
“We sought guidance overnight from forensic specialists ahead of detailed autopsies scheduled for this afternoon. The expert has advised that preliminary findings show a victim likely sustained a wound matching a firearm wound.”

The assailant, a 35-year-old individual, was not carrying a firearm, and all discharged rounds came from the police officers at the scene.

The two victims who lost their lives at Heaton Park synagogue in north Manchester earlier this week had been named as Adrian Daulby, aged 53 and Melvin Cravitz, 66 years old.
These individuals were killed when a vehicle was employed to crash through the grounds of the local Jewish place of worship, then stabbed worshippers in a six-minute rampage that ended only when police with firearms fired upon him, ending his life near the synagogue entrance.
Further Harm
Three others sustained major injuries in the attack on the Day of Atonement, the most sacred occasion in the Jewish year.
The chief constable added, “We have also been advised that one of the three victims currently receiving treatment sustained a firearm injury, which is mercifully not life threatening. Officials think the two individuals were near each other at the entrance, as worshippers acted bravely to prevent the attacker from gaining entry.”

Suspect Background
Police named the attacker as the individual, thirty-five, a British citizen of Syrian origin.
Local law enforcement reported that three additional individuals – two male suspects and a woman in her 60s – had been detained “for alleged commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism”.
